Phase Change Materials Database – PCM database

Nowadays, a lot of efforts has been done to improve the energy storage and conversion systems, due to our actual global energetic conjecture.
In this context, hundreds of works can be found proposing the usage of phase change materials (PCM) to store thermal energy, as latent heat.
Thus, in PCM database are organized the relevant physical properties of a wide number of materials with potential to be used as PCM in thermal energy storage systems.
Database allow the selection, organization and exportation of the available materials according to their physical properties, based on selection criteria inserted by the user, i.e. ranges of: melting point, thermal conductivity, density, latent heat, etc.
