Objectives :
The aim of this work is to clarify the mechanism of consolidation of magnesium phosphate cements, which is still imperfectly explained, studying the effect on the curing reaction (setting time, workability, exhaust gases, temperature), microstructure (crystalline phases, their morphology and distribution) and the final characteristics of the cement consolidated (porosity, mechanical resistance) factors as the type and proportions of the reactants, the grain size and specific surface area of MgO, the water content, the presence and type of additives and the presence of aggregates and pore-forming agents. |
